A Post Is A Wish Your Heart Makes!

Hello again, dear readers! I've recently reestablished my belief that spring can make any place look beautiful. It is so wonderful it makes me want to start a photography blog. But that's beside the point. This post, or at least the introduction, comes to you from my dad's laptop. I like the keys on it because they are very thin, and typing feels like playing a very graceful and delicate instrument which I have not determined the identity as of yet. I also enjoy the sans serif font they chose for the letters (very modern if I do say so myself). Readers, would you tell me if I spoke weird? Do I sound like some clueless country bumpkin? Do the words bumpkin and pumpkin too closely resemble each other? On the note of instruments (see what I did there?) summer is going to be a very busy time for people who play music. I hope if you've got any friends who play music you respect that summer is the time for musicians to perform that music they've been practicing all winter, and it can be physically exhausting. For myself, the marching band will be performing on Memorial Day. We have to march around 1.5 miles - while playing. I feel really bad for our tubas and bass drums.

Our apartment has a habit of having very loud doors. I don't know the cause nor the effect of our recent predicament, but now all our doors just slam shut instead of gently closing like they should. It's a very odd problem to have.

I am the ghost of slammed doors passed! Also, correct people when they say ghost of ___  past, because no, it's passed

I think it's so beautiful out I should include some pictures. I'm sorry about the previous post mentioning a photo dump, I got a little squeamish about randomly pulling my phone out in front of people. Of course I shall update you on my daily quotes, if nothing else-

Another Update!

Hello again, dear readers,  and today I'm feeling awfully optimistic. I feel like I'm going to go and get something done today. On the note of getting things accomplished,  I would like to present to you a recent invention of my design. Tada!
This means I have figured out pictures!  Yeah!

Contained withen this notebook is ( or will be) quotes! I know it sounds kinda lame or weird, but for every day until I run out of pages I'll put a funny, weird,  or inspiring quote I like inside this journal. For the first quote, I thought I'd something which was a bit of each of these...

It's actually kinda hard to keep from adding a bunch of quotes all at once,  cuz every time you research one quote,  it gives you a million really cool ideas.  However,  I think when you take into consideration how long I might be doing this,  it might be good to limit myself to one a day.

There are One a Day knockoffs?

Besides all that quote journal stuff,  there's other stuff going on too.  On Friday, I forgot my flute at home for the first time this year. In an amazing feat of pure skill,  we didn't play in band that day. I am made of four leaf clovers and rabbit feet, apparently.

Dearest blog viewers, Friday was also Dress-Up Day, according to my dearest friend (her blog is PrismByUs.blogspot.com). I wore a gallon of makeup and khakis to school. I even got a ride to school because it was raining and nice clothes and water don't mix. Anyway, it was pretty fun. My hair was done in very interesting ways by my friends. I actually slept with braids in,  which means...

In this portrait,  I am represented as Cress by Marissa Meyer

How was your week,  dear blog readers? I feel like my whole week happened on Friday. I'm a little emotionally exhausted, like my feels tank has hit empty.  With that,  I think I must leave you.  Bye!

Back Again, Might Actually Try To Update This Blog Every Half A Century

Hello,  dear readers. I have thought to update my blog,  because whatever beautiful creatures read this blog might find enjoyment in reading whatever the heck this is.  I must inform you, with much sadness, that our family computer has died. This means updates might be more spotty.  However, summer break is approaching,  and I can almost taste the boredom, so you can count on me uploading a bunch. Hopefully.

After much reconsideration,  I don't think the schedule is going to work. School has become oppresively... squeeze-everything-in-at-the-last-minute-y. It's not quite boring enough to label it boring, and it's not quite accelerated enough to be considered fast-paced. It's handing in inch thick packets time too, which means a lot of late nights for a procrastinator such as myself.I hope, with your help, to make it through these tough times.

Does it annoy you that I haven't figured out how to put pictures in posts yet? It would annoy me if I were reading this.

Lauren's Happy Face
A wild Lern in her natural habitat
Lauren seems like a non-shortenable name, yet Lauren regularly goes by Lern or Lernderern. She is an 8th grader from Michigan who is disturbingly self-aware and somewhat hypocritical at times. She also happens to be terrible at describing herself. Her email is penguin1366@gmail.com, so send her something because she is SO BORED, like ALL the TIME. She sincerely wishes you the best, and hopes you gain something from reading her blog. Bye!
